Our custom-made orthotic braces are designed to provide targeted support and stability for dogs with specific orthopedic and mobility challenges. Each brace is individually designed based on the patient’s condition, structure, movement, and rehabilitation needs to provide a precise and comfortable fit.
Orthotic braces can be a valuable option for pets who are not suitable candidates for surgery, as well as in situations where conservative management or additional support is recommended as part of a rehabilitation plan. Braces are intended to support mobility, stability, and comfort and are not necessarily a replacement for surgical treatment when surgery is indicated.
The process begins with a thorough assessment to determine whether your pet is a good candidate for an orthotic brace and which type of support is most appropriate.
If a brace is recommended, a custom cast is taken in the comfort of your pet’s home—without sedation or anesthesia. The cast is then used to create a precise mold for fabrication of the custom brace.
Because every patient is unique, adjustments may sometimes be needed as your pet adapts to the brace. Follow-up visits are provided to monitor comfort, fit, and function and to make any necessary adjustments, ensuring the brace continues to fit properly and provide the intended support.
